Corporate social responsibility is a huge part of our ethos, and this is why we developed the Monford Foundation which finances projects and initiatives that create positive outcomes.

The Monford Foundation finances projects and initiatives that create positive outcomes for indigenous Australians and supports local communities. Through its contributions, we aim to create a more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable future for all Australians.

Through the Foundation’s ongoing fundraising efforts and the support of Monford Group, we have proudly donated over $450,000 to a variety of community organisations, since its founding in 2013, including the Clontarf Foundation, Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), Claddagh Association, St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies), and Mates in Construction.

In response to Australia’s ambitious climate goals, including the 2022 Climate Change Act’s target of reducing CO2 emissions by 43% by 2030, we are investing in research and development to drive efficiencies in construction and energy generation. Our focus is on revolutionising the way utility-scale solar, wind, and hydrogen infrastructure are built and operated.

Through our R&D efforts, we are at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, computer vision, and the Internet of Things (IoT) into construction processes. Our people are our greatest asset, and the health and safety of our employees is our highest priority. We continually seek to improve and identify risk through best practice guidelines. This has resulted in a successful track record of delivering ever higher safety standards and driving the safety message to all levels of project staff.   

Our safety practices are built on a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System that adheres to all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices. Accredited by the Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) in accordance with the OFSC system and ISO 45001, our system ensures the highest level of safety, including management system procedures, forms and management plans. We also implement a thorough Critical Risk Program to proactively identify, assess, and manage potential risks, ensuring the safety of our people and the success of our projects. We prioritise Workplace Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Training (WHSEQT) through an integrated management system.
